GETTING TO KNOW YOUR CAMERA
An Introduction to digital photography

Suitable for all compact camers

This is an opportunity for beginning photographers to come to terms with the
basic controls of their cameras allowing them scope for greater creativity.
A combination of practical lectures and field assignments in a relaxed and
supportive environment with expert tuition will take you to the next level.

Alberto will show you how to get the best from your camera by taking it off the
‘point and shoot modes’ as we will never be able to realise our artistic side
without mastering the craft of photography. Sue will take you through the basic elements of composition, giving you the confidence to express yourself and
to take the pictures that you want.

Subject matter covered includes exposure, white balance, depth of field
controls and menu functions and their use as well as touching on downloading, viewing and editing of your images.

Price: €75 per person
Maximum of 6 students. Private groups can be organised (3-6 persons)
A wonderful lunch, cooked by Alberto with a glass of wine is included.
